Abstract
Four-fold classification schemes are distinguished between those involving errors in one variable and those involving errors in both variables. The effects of misclassifications arising from measurement, reporting or other sources on prevalence estimates derived from such schemes are examined separately in the 2 cases and algebraic models are set forth. Keywords
