Abstract
A simple parametrization has been developed for the proton-neutron bremsstrahlung amplitude which reproduces the results of a meson exchange potential model including the convection, magnetization, and the two-body current contributions. Our parametrization maintains the important role of exchange contributions at high photon energies. We apply the model to the description of energetic photon production in heavy ion induced reactions. Keywords
