Abstract
In this paper, we have outlined a formative evaluation model for classroom instruction. In addition, we provided an example of how the model was used recently to evaluate the performance of students in a ninth grade science program. This Comprehensive Achievement Monitoring approach to evaluation uses criterion-referenced tests. Keywords
