Symmetry breaking and mass spectra in supersymmetric SO(10) models

Abstract
We study the symmetry breaking of a supersymmetric SO(10) models using a simple general method for decomposing high-rank tensor representations and calculating Higgs-boson-mass spectra. We consider in detail the symmetry breaking of the SO(10) group to some interesting subgroups, such as the flipped SU(5)×U(1), SU(4)×SU(2)L×SU(2)R, and SU(3)×SU(2)L×SU(2)R×U(1), with or without D parity. We discuss some of the related phenomenological consequences.
