Abstract
Switching-surge overvoltages are a major concern in the establishment of insulation levels of modern EHV and UHV power systems. Transient Network Analyzer (TNA) and digital model simulations of these systems are the primary means of determining what the insulation levels should be before the actual systems are constructed.Keywords
