Abstract
The dynamic moduli and damping coefficients of a selected group of fabric-woven composites were obtained using a resonance technique. The same samples were later subjected to stress pulses. Measured values of the velocity and attenuation of the pulses are compared with those computed from the resonance data based on the assumption of linear viscoelastic be havior. In most instances the agreement is quite favorable.
