Abstract
An experimental observation of phase synchronization is presented for two unidirectionally coupled chaotic Rössler systems. We show that in this case phase synchronization is connected with generalized synchronization which occurs when the coupling strength exceeds a critical value. © 1996 The American Physical Society. Keywords
