Abstract
A new type of radioactive linear source, made by radioactive wire introduced into the tract of a round surgical thread and fixed in resin, is reported. This source possesses all the the advantages of the radioactive wire and at the same time permits double overloading at 1 or both ends. Implantation is performed by means of an after-loading technique, the nonradioactive end of the thread being guided with the help of a surgical needle or with a specially designed needle-stylet.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
