Abstract
A zonal analysis system and corresponding nomenclature were developed to describe the location and nature of radiographic changes in canine uncemented total hip arthroplasties. Criteria to assess prosthetic component alignment, percentage of femoral canal fill, resorptive and formative bony changes, and alterations in the bone at the implant-bone interface were derived by studying serial radiographs of 100 consecutive canine uncemented total hip arthroplasties for up to 30 months after surgery. Keywords
