An Educational Imperative: Evaluating the Effectiveness of an Anti‐Smoking Program

Abstract
A two‐year follow‐up study conducted by the authors reveals that, unless public school students are in a health education program that is part of a spiral curriculum that builds upon and reinforces those anti‐smoking concepts learned earlier, students are apt to regress in both attitudes toward and knowledge of the dangers of smoking.
