Computer Assisted Tomography of Urachal Abnormalities

Abstract
Three examples of urachal abnormalities were presented: 2 urachal cysts and 1 urachal carcinoma. These cases demonstrate the value of computed tomography in detecting urachal abnormalities, particularly if there is no communication between the bladder and the urachal remnant. The embryonic development of the bladder was discussed, particularly with reference to the development of urachal abnormalities.
