Abstract
The scalar, vector, and tensor harmonics on the 3‐sphere are developed by its identification with SU(2), enabling familiar angular momentum techniques to be employed. The application to spatially homogeneous cosmology is discussed. In this context the classic work of Lifshitz and the recent approach of Hu are bridged. Finally spinor harmonics are introduced. Keywords
