Abstract
The relative formation rates of negative water clusters have been measured as a function of electron energy in the 8–170 meV range. The electron source is a beam of xenon atoms laser‐excited in Rydberg states. Strong Rydberg electron energy dependences are observed for the attachment rates of the water dimer, hexamer, and heptamer. Keywords
