Abstract
Crude myosin extracts of rabbit hearts were analyzed for -SH content. Control hearts: 16.41 fig -SH/mg N; strophanthin-K poisoned hearts: 18.08; pentobarbital failed hearts: 13.39. These values are significantly different. On the other hand, Ca deficient medium caused failure, but did not change the -SH content. Keywords
