Abstract
X-ray fluorescence has been pointed out as a mechanism offering exceptional possibilities in the development of physicochemical therapy. Experiments are given which demonstrate that under these conditions the x-rays may have a strong bactericidal effect. The x-rays alone have a partial bactericidal action on water suspensions of typhoid bacilli. Keywords
