Abstract
Fifteen young male dairy calves of different breeds were fed, in various sequences, normal milk (pH 6.8) and milk with pH''s adjusted to 5.0 with IN HC1, and 8.0 with 1 [image] NaOH. The feeding of acidified and alkalized milk did not significantly affect dry matter content of the feces, daily fecal excretion, or incidence of scours. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
