Abstract
Polycyclic hydrocarbons (32) were classified as carcinogenic or not on the basis of a multivariate statistical analysis of 23 variables characterizing each hydrocarbon. A prediction of the level of carcinogenicity for the active compounds was also obtained on the same basis.Keywords
