Carbamazepine in Dementia

Abstract
Dementia is an ailment that is becoming a major management problem. The presentations of dementias vary depending upon the site of lesions and their severity. Different medications have been tried to relieve some of the more common symptoms associated with the dementias. This report shows the use of carbamazepine as one medication that could be utilized for the resolution of mania-like symptoms that sometimes occur in this condition.
