Abstract
Two computer programs DOTIG1 and DOTIG2 were developed to calculate, in the time‐domain, the interaction of transient electromagnetic pulses (EMP) with perfect electric conductor structures modelled by thin wires (DOTIG1) or patches (DOTIG2). DOTIG1 uses the electric field integral equation and DOTIG2 the magnetic field integral equation. Briefly described below are the numerical procedures used to develop both programs and some results that show their characteristics. Keywords
