Abstract
The paper discusses the buried channel of the Bristol River Avon. Borehole information indicates a buried channel to a depth of at least — 65 feet O.D. in the Avonmouth area. This has been correlated with other areas and suggests an erosional date of the First or Second Buried Channel Period of the Last Glaciation. Keywords
