Abstract
A patient with anorexia nervosa developed a fatal cardiomyopathy due to ipecac intoxication. Prodromal signs and symptoms included generalized muscle weakness, dysphagia, and severe palpitations. Autopsy revealed pathological changes in the heart and skeletal muscles.Keywords
