Abstract
Distal microvascular spasm is a somewhat uncommon occurrence following PTCA and often does not respond well to nitroglycerin. We report several patients who developed distal microvascular spasm that was refractory to intracoronary nitroglycerin but responded promptly to intracoronary verapamil. Keywords
