Abstract
In this preliminary note the new genus FOLLICULINOPSIS (p.353) is proposed for the species with a beaded macronucleus, Folliculina being retained for spp. with a single ovate macronucleus. Records of 15 Folliculinidae found at and near Concarneau: Folliculinopsis producta* (Wright) n. comb. (p.354); F. annulata* (p.354); F. lignicola* (p.354), associated with Limnoria lignorum; F. gunneri* (C. Dons) n. comb. (p.354); F. limnoriae* (Mirofolliculina f. Giard) (p. 356) ; F. paguri* (Pebrilla p. Giard) (p.356) ; Folliculina elegans*; F. aculeata*; F. viridis*; F. simplex*; F. spirorbis*; Parajolliculina rnirabilis*; P. hirundo*; P. amphora*; P. yiolacea*.
