Senecio lautus complex in Australia. II. Cultural studies of populations

Abstract
It is shown that five main genoecodemes, corresponding to five different ecological regions in Australia, may be recognized in this complex. Mostly the differences are not clear cut, though they can be demonstrated statistically. This, coupled with the presence of certain anomalous populations, indicates that the complex is still in a state of morphological differentiation. There is evidence of introgressive hybridization between some of the marginal populations.
