Branching Ratios Within the Neutral Decays of theη0Meson

Abstract
We have studied the neutral decays of η0 mesons produced in a hydrogen bubble chamber. Utilizing the conversion within the chamber of one photon from each decay, we obtain the following percentages of the neutral decays: (η0γγ)(η0neutrals)=(48.6±3.6)%, (η0π0γγ)(η0neutrals)=(12.24.4+5.2)%, and (η03π0)(η0neutrals)=(39.2±4.2)%.%. With the assumption of no π0γγ contribution, we obtain the ratio (η03π0)(η0γγ)=0.91±0.14.
