Abstract
Solitary eosinophilic granulomas of bone are benign and tend to heal spontaneously over a period of months to years. Radiotherapy and curettage have certain risks which may be excessive considering the benign nature of the lesion. Methylprednisolone was injected directly into 9 pathologically proved solitary eosinophilic granulomas of bone and initiation of healing and relief of pain was obtained in 8. There were no complications. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
