Abstract
A technical alternative is proposed to enable transplantation in cases of considerable size mismatch between donor and recipient aorta: interposition of a Dacron graft of intermediate diameter. This procedure was performed in a 56-year-old patient weighing 75 kg in whom a heart from a 40-kg donor was implanted. Keywords
