Abstract
We have considered the six interaction potentials involved in distorted-wave Born-approximation (DWBA) calculations and find that the inclusion of Coulomb interaction potentials which are usually neglected improve heavy-ion predictions in two ways: (1) The difference between cross sections calculated in the post and prior representations is reduced to a few per cent, and (2) the energy dependence found in spectroscopic factors derived from standard DWBA calculations is removed. Keywords
