Antireflection coatings for solar cells

Abstract
The design factors, materials, and methods used to provide antireflection coatings on solar cells are described. The dependence of coating properties on the cell requirements is discussed. The methods used are well understood, and a firm basis exists for evaluation of impoved methods or materials for reducing cell reflectance.
