Abstract
The staphylinid beetle H. nordenskioeldi (Maeklin) was recorded from both northeastern and northwestern North America. Two new collecting localities on the western shore of Hudson Bay [Canada] are reported. The distribution of this species is discussed with reference to fossil occurrences in Late Pleistocene deposits in North America and 2 possible postglacial recolonization routes are postulated. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
