Nuclear recoil effects in antiprotonic and muonic atoms

Abstract
Relativistic nuclear recoil effects are studied for antiprotonic and muonic atoms. The generalization of the Breit-Pauli Hamiltonian including vacuum polarization is presented. Previous treatments are corrected, and the result for the splitting in muonic hydrogen is updated.
