Production of light stabilized radion at high energy hadron collider
Abstract
In this paper we derive the coupling of light stabilized radions to gluons in the Randall-Sundrum model and use it to compute the radion production cross section at hadron colliders by gluon fusion. Using the effective Lagrangian for higgs coupling to gluons in the heavy quark limit we then show analytically that the radion production cross section through gluon fusion would exceed the higgs production cross section by a factor that varies between 7 and 8. We have verified this conclusion by the more exact calculation of the higgs production cross section. We also discuss the decays of such a radion into different SM particles. Keywords
