Abstract
The steady state performance of three-phase induction motors with supply voltage controlled by cyclically-triggered in-line thyristors is analyzed in terms of phase variables rather than d-q axis variables. A closed form solution is obtained. Application of the method is illustrated and sample results presented for comparision purposes. Keywords
