Abstract
The apparatus consists of converted microtome in which the knife blade is replaced by a circular saw blade mounted on a shaft of a small electric motor controlled by a variable transformer. Bones may be sectioned serially at 30u at the rate of 20-40 sections per hr., with the loss of only 150u. between sections. Bone specimens are embedded in bioplastic and carried by the regular microtome carriage. Keywords
