Abstract
1. The removal of the foetus between the 51st and 105th day of pregnancy in the mare, did not have any detrimental effect in seven Welsh pony mares.2. The subsequent oestrous cycles of the mares did not appear to be influenced by the stage of pregnancy at which the foetus was removed. Keywords
