Abstract
Hemangiomas involving the posterior bony external auditory canal and adjacent tympanic membrane, although rare, do appear to be a specific disease entity of the human external auditory canal. It has been reported in 2 males in their 6th decade of life. A 3rd case is reported, which appears to confirm the original description of Freedman et. al. 1972. Total surgical excision with tympanic membrane grafting appears to be effective in removal of this benign neoplasm. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
