Abstract
The intimate relationship between current-commutator sum rules and low-energy scattering of mesons and baryons is demonstrated. The various approximations involved in the derivation are separately discussed. Finally, some comments are made on the pion-pion problem and its relation to the question of continuation in mass, which is basic to the hypothesis of partially conserved axial-vector current. Keywords
