Abstract
The accumulation of,B-glucosidase in shake cultures of Stachybotrys atra is dependent on a variety� of physiological conditions but there is no evidence that it is induced by the presence of ,B-glucosides in the medium. One strain of the. mould requires a factor present in yeast� extract for the production of the enzyme.
