Abstract
In this paper, we present the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov model calculations for transition charge densities of even-even nuclei, using the pairing-plus-quadrupole-quadrupole interactions operating in s-d-g-h valence space. It is predicted that the transition charge densities should be able to act as a more sensitive means for clear signature of the shape transitions, which have yet only been looked upon with respect to the changes in the static properties. The static properties calculated from the same model are in good agreement with the available experimental data. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
