Abstract
Plasmapheresis Therapy in Rheumatoid Arthritis (Original Article, N Engl J Med 1983:308;1124-1129). On page 1125, left-hand column, line 8, the sentence beginning "The blood. . ." should be replaced by the following: "The blood withdrawn was processed after anticoagulation with acid citrate dextrose (USP Formula A, Fenwal Laboratories, Deerfield, Ill.) at a ratio of one volume of acid citrate to 13 volumes of blood." In addition, the last sentence in that paragraph should be replaced by the following: "The average volume of plasma discarded was 3 liters (1 plasma volume — 40 ml plasma/kg body weight), and the total procedure took about two hours."Keywords
