Abstract
Three cases are reported in which open reduction and internal fixation were required to stabilize an unstable first carpometacarpal joint with simultaneous fracture of the trapezium and Bennett’s fracture. The results were good in terms of range of movement and radiological appearance, all of them returning to normal activities, including heavy manual work. Keywords
