Abstract
The numbers of airborne conidia trapped at various locations within and adjacent to a barley field indicated limited horizontal and vertical distribution of P. teres. The numbers of conidia decreased rapidly as height of trap increased. The majority were trapped at < 1 m above ground level, regardless of time of day, and at windspeeds exceeding 15 km h-1. The number of conidia of P. teres trapped 10 m from the barley field at a height of 1.2 m was only 4.3% of that at the same height within the field. Keywords
