Abstract
Longitudinal grooving, ridging and splitting, a peculiar midline fissure, and a peculiar progressive atrophy practically ending in the disappearance of the nail-plate are nailanomalies observed in a good number of cases of lichen planus. A relation between these nailanomalies and lichen planus seems to be justified. Keywords
