Accumulation of glycogen in sural nerve axons in adult‐onset type III glycogenosis

Abstract
A 42‐year‐old man with adult‐onset type III glycogenosis (Cori's disease) developed a gradually progressive polyneuropathy with markedly reduced activity of muscle amylo‐1,6‐glucosidase and glycogen accumulation within all elements of biopsied sural nerve, including axons, as shown by ultrastructural assessment.This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
