Abstract

Deposition of 3-5 ml. of dilute extract in organic solvents is accomplished without excessive spreading by delivering the extract to paper strips, supported over a hot plate, from contact pipettes with a capillary tip in which is inserted a tight-fitting platinum or stainless steel wire.
