Abstract
Rabbit anti-mouse pituitary serum was prepared. Its affinity for the acidophilic, growth hormone producing cells was demonstrated by the fluorescent antibody technique. The anti-pituitary serum also had some anti-growth hormone activity. Besides the changes described earlier in the thymus and lymphoid tissue injection of anti-pituitary serum into young mice also produced an alteration in the thyroid gland. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
