Abstract
During the infection cycle of herpes simplex virus polypeptides appear as immediate early, early and late proteins. We classified the 65K DNA binding protein as an early (β-) protein by comparing its detectibility with that of two well defined proteins the ICP4 (known as immediate early protein) and the ICP 8 (known as early protein). Keywords
