Abstract
Summary. A group of 60 multiparae whose last pregnancy was ≥7 years previously were studied with respect to various characteristics of their present labour and delivery and compared with a control group of 60 multiparae, matched for age and parity, who had intervals of <7 years between the present and last delivery. The results showed that a prolonged interval between pregnancies does not influence subsequent labour and delivery. Keywords
