Molecular Chirality and Chiral Parameters

Abstract

We show that any chiral measure of a geometric object must contain three-point information about the molecule. Moreover, we show that there are large (infinite) classes of these chiral parameters which can have differing signs and can vanish at different points as a molecule is deformed into its mirror image.
