Abstract
A magnetoelectric effect has been found at room temperature in a polymer composite-polystyrene-metal-organic manganese dimers with ligands of spatially hindered phenol. It is shown that these metal-organic manganese dimers implement the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and are weakly ferromagnetic. It is suggested that a new class of high-temperature multiferroics can be created on the basis of such molecular structures. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
